Dear GOLE Operators,We're in the process of updating the GLIF brochure, and would like to add a logical diagram of the GOLE topology. An example topology (based on StarLight) was included in the previous version, but this caused some confusion so we've drafted a new diagram that shows *all* GOLEs and the links between them. We'd therefore be grateful if every GOLE operator could check that their links are currently represented correctly, including the capacities insofar as this is possible show on such a diagram.
A couple of things to point out though...We're aware that the GOLEs are connected to a number of 'end' networks, but it's simply impractical to show all of these on a small page. The diagram is only intended to represent the core GLIF structure, and we're planning to add a note about end networks, or even to list these.
One possible exception to the above might be the GEANT network as this offers a lightpath service that can be reached from some GOLEs, but is not considered part of GLIF. Should this be shown on the diagram?
Comments and corrections are welcomed. Regards, Kevin Meynell
