Locations and dates of annual GLIF meetings in 2011, 2012 and 2013

Dear GLIF Participants,

We are looking back at a very successful annual GLIF meeting, also known as the
9th Annual Global LambdaGrid Workshop, hosted by KISTI in Daejeon in October
last year. As you no doubt know, the 10th Annual Global LambdaGrid Workshop will
be held on 13-14 October 2010 in Geneva, hosted by CERN.

It is now the time of year when the GLIF Working Group chairs and the GLIF
secretariat are thinking about the location of next year's annual GLIF event.
The intention is to decide about dates and location of the 11th Annual Global
LambdaGrid Workshop well before the summer of 2010, so that an announcement of
all the details can be presented at the Geneva event.

Some informal interest in hosting a future Annual Global LambdaGrid Workshop has
been expressed in various talks. We have also received a formal expression of
interest from RNP to host the 11th Annual Global LambdaGrid Workshop in Rio de
Janeiro in September 2011.

The GLIF Working Group chairs think that it would also be nice to plan a few
years ahead, and they are therefore looking for concrete proposals with some
details about dates, venue (meeting hall), budget (commitment from the host to
collect the registration fees and cover all local expenses; expected level of
the registration fee) etc.

If you would like to make such a proposal for the Annual Global LambdaGrid
Workshop in 2011, 2012 or 2013, then please send it to <info@xxxxxxx> before 1
May 2010.
